HALL OF FAME

The Clubs most progressed players so far that we know of are, Jason Kneen, Kelvin Lugsden, Kieran Lugsden, Joe McNab, Neil McNab, Tim Ryan and Andy Woods.
The Club would like to congratulate all of them on their progression since leaving us.

Jason Kneen

Jason's position is midfield. He joined the Club in 1989 and after he left the Club, he went on to play for Manchester City and Woodley Sports.
Jason won promotion with Woodley Sports from the North West Counties League Division 1 in 2003/2004.

Kelvin Lugsden

Kelvin's position is defender. He joined the Club in 1998 and after he left the Club, he went on to play for New Mills, Altrincham and New Mills (for a second spell). He is currently playing for non-league Glossop North End in the Vodkat North West Counties League Division 1.

Kieran Lugsden

Kieran's position is forward. Twin brother of Kelvin, he joined the Club in 1998 and after he left the Club, he went on to play for New Mills, Altrincham and Radcliffe Borough. He is currently back playing for non-league Altrincham in the Nationwide Conference National.
Kieran won promotion with Altrincham from the Nationwide Conference North via the Play-Offs in 2004/2005.

Joe McNab

Joe's position is midfield. He is the son of the former Manchester City midfielder Neil McNab. He joined the Club in 1989 and after he left the Club, he went on to play for Stockport Boys, Manchester City and Portsmouth. Then he went on to play in the USA for Utah Blitzz (Salt Lake City) and Long Island Rough Riders (New York) and before heading back to England to play for Newport (IOW). He then returned to the USA to play for Syracuse Salty Dogs (New York) before heading back to England again to play for Woking. He then returned to the USA again to play for Wilmington Hammerheads (North Carolina). He then went on to do some coaching in Atlanta with his father and brother.
Joe won the Western Conference Championship, League Championship and National Championship in 2001 with Utah Blitzz, and he won USL Atlantic Conference Championship and National Championship in 2002 with the Long Island Rough Riders.

Neil McNab

Neil's position is midfield. Twin brother of Joe, he is the son of the former Manchester City midfielder Neil McNab. He then returned to the USA to play for Syracuse Salty Dogs (New York) and Wilmington Hammerheads (North Carolina). He then went on to do some coaching in Atlanta with his father and brother.

Joe and Neil are picture above celebrating winning the National Championship with the Long Island Rough Riders in 2002. They think that they were the first players in USL (United Soccer Leagues) history to win back-to-back National Championships with different teams after winning the National Championship with Utah Blitzz in 2001. Joe is on the left and Neil is on the right.

Tim Ryan

Tim's position is defender. He joined the Club in 1990 and after he left the Club, he went on to play for Scunthorpe United, Buxton, Doncaster Rovers, Altrincham, Southport, Doncaster Rovers (for a second spell), Peterborough United and Boston United. He is currently playing for Darlington in Coca-Cola League 2.
Tim won back-to-back promotions with Doncaster Rovers, from the Nationwide Conference via the Play-Offs in 2002/2003 and from the Nationwide League Division 3 by winning the League Championship in 2003/2004. He has also represented England as captian at Semi-Professional level.

Andy Woods

Andy's position is goalkeeper. He is the cousin of the former Norwich City, Sheffield Wednesday and England goalkeeper Chris Woods. Andy didn't always used to play as a goalkeeper, he sometimes played as a defender. He joined the Club in 1986 and after he left the Club, he went on to play as goalkeeper for Stockport Boys, Oldham Athletic, Halifax Town, Doncaster Rovers, Barrow, Doncaster Rovers (for a second spell), Scarborough, Northwich Victoria, Chester City and Farsley Celtic.
Andy won promotion with Chester City from the Nationwide Conference by winning the League Championship in 2003/2004. He has also represented England at School Boy level.
