After our 4-1 away defeat at Chapel Town on Saturday co Manager John Steele took charge of
this potentially tricky evening fixture. No need to worry within the first 20 minutes and with
slick passing and creative play we were three up, training the previous afternoon obviously
not wasted. John made subtle changes and used the subs well, without affecting a balanced side.
As half-time approached the team were thankful to the always impressive Joe Chorlton in goal,
making a couple of good stops when Woodley thought they had got back into the game.
At half-time and the boy's thinking job done, they got a reminder that they had to continue to
perform, so with Man of the Match Joe making a couple more stops the forwards made sure with
two more excellent finishes. Scorers George, Milo and Myles, great defensive work and a first
clean sheet at 11-a-side. Keep it up!
